Slow Cooker Shredded Salsa Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 jar chunky salsa, such as Tostitos

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in a single layer on the bottom of the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 2-2.5 hours.
  • When the chicken is fully cooked, transfer the chicken breasts to a large bowl. Shred the chicken breasts with two forks (or a hand mixer to save time).
  • Pour salsa over the shredded chicken and mix until the chicken and salsa are well combined. Enjoy immediately or transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for later.
