FOOD COSTS ARE ON THE RISE…BUT IT DOESN’T MEAN WE CANT STILL EAT HEALTHY
I think we can agree that we are all feeling the impact of inflation. But that doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice healthy meals because of rising food costs.
It means we have to strategic.
Often times, people think the fast food route is the cheapest…but it isn’t the healthiest…and it’s not really the cheapest.
But what if we could indulge in a burger joint moment while keeping it healthy and cheap?

this cheeseburger salad because it’s healthy, inexpensive and it really does hit the spot when you want something healthy.
This salad is a staple in our home…even the hubby who has an aversion to anything healthy (go figure right?) enjoys this salad…
And my special sauce has less than 2 grams of fat for the entire serving!
The special sauce really brings together that burger joint taste while acting as a dressing…
But my favorite part?
The entire salad costs: 3.82
optional dressing: .78
Total 4.60
Even better than that…
A traditional burger can be pretty small and though they may satisfy the craving, you often have to pair them with fries to feel satiated.
